The Friday E-Mail - Christmas Special

A massive wave to one and all!

As many people on MSN are pointing out, it is in fact Christmas Eve eve, so it seemed like the right time to produce a special Christmas Edition of The Friday E-Mail.

It’s been quite a week though as all the university people (except one) returned to Bolton for the Christmas break and then made it to the Christmas Meet-Up on Wednesday evening. It was great to see everyone again, all in fine fooling as we played pool and generally chatted away all evening. The turn out was unprecedented at 16 people by my reckoning and each one was as welcome as the next. I didn’t falter on my word either and The Big Round was a near success, but for some bizarre reason, Scotty was missed out. I’m not at all sure why, but I’ll make sure he gets the pint that’s coming to him. And at a round cost of £20.76, it was worth it. Great thanks go to Mr Popplewell for giving me the money to make the round possible. Without you lot, I wouldn’t have it, so sharing the wealth was the only option! I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again, it was fantastic to see everyone again, and even though the time flew by on the evening, it was great fun just be there. Well done to Kyle as well for driving up from Chester after a hard days graft just to see everyone again, oh, and deliver Soph’s clothes. Every job has a perk, I suppose.

And with Sean’s birthday on the following day, and a fantastic night out as well, it’s been a good week of fun for most, but perhaps a troubling week for the livers. You only live once!

On a different, and slightly more troubling note, it appears that Emery has his own little stalker! Someone quite random has been speaking to him over MSN, with a full description of him, leaving him completely baffled as he doesn’t have a clue who she is. Good luck with that one.

Finally, best wishes to the climbers going over to Yankee-land to have fun in the land of The Joshua Tree. Now remember that the drinking age is 21 over there, so those of age can drink illegally again! Lucky guys. With you being over for the new year as well, I’ll wish you all a happy new year now. Have a fun break and enjoy the fun!

So to everyone, have a very merry Christmas and I hope you all get a nice big pressie off Santa. Sleep well, drink and eat moderately and just have a whale of a time!
